Connecting patients and their support systems — helping them live better days.

Teva is helping millions everyday by providing innovative treatments and access to the world’s largest medicine cabinet. My contributions include workshopping, strategy, user experience, product design and development.

Warm Science

In collaboration with FORM& we created a sophisticated system of elements which can be used to design rich and cohesive brand experiences.

The Brief

Teva tasked us to focus on six chronic conditions that receive the largest engagement.

  • Depression

    The persistent feeling of sadness or loss of interest.
  • ADHD

    Limited attention and hyperactivity.
  • Choronic Pain

    Inflammation or dysfunctional nerves. Persistent pain that lasts weeks to years.
  • Ulcers

    Loss of the skin's outer layers, redness, and pain at the site of the ulcer.
  • Migraine

    An intense headache, nausea, and sensitivity to light and sound.
  • Asthma

    Difficulty breathing, chest pain, cough, and wheezing.
Going Beyond Prescribed Medicines

Our goal was to support the dynamic lives of patients to ‘Live Better Days’ by connecting them with their loved ones. Creating an unique personalized emotional support system to manage their conditions beyond what doctors provide.

Leveraging a Known Behavior

One of Teva’s criteria for success is to be as frictionless as possible. iMessage is already a part of people’s daily lives, we were able to utilize the existing API as a method of delivery.

Contextual Recommendations

By utilizing iMessage API to integrate seamlessly into your life, Teva is able to make informed recommendations to a patient's loved one.

They will then be able to adequately support the patient’s needs. These could range from a passive solution like reading an article to a more action-oriented one like taking a walk in the nearby park.

Content is lifestyle-centric as opposed to symptoms centric, giving patients life advice which enables them to live their best days with their conditions.

Customizing Emojis

Emojis are the most common and easiest language to express emotion. It only seems fitting as a method of communication for patients to use within iMessage.

By giving it an extra layer of customization, patients can quickly share how they feel. The emojis are visually branded and are specific to their condition. This allows for Teva to curate the relevant recommendations for the patient's loved ones.

Weekly Reports

As patients and their loved ones use the iMessage app, Teva captures the communication and shows a summary report of each week. Based on the patient's data collected over the week, an approprite content and/or activity is recommended to the patient.

Lastly, we put together a product marketing page to showcase Teva's new product to the world.
